In Salyersville, Kentucky there is currently a brave little 9-year-old boy named Dalton who has been living with Cystic Fibrosis and has recently become increasingly sick. He recently was allowed to come home, medical supplies in tote to be closer to his loved ones. Dalton’s last wish is to break the world record for receiving the most Christmas cards (which is 35,000). Anyone who would like to participate to send Dalton a Christmas card be sure to include your city and state (or country if you’re international) so he can see how far the support has come from. The earlier the cards the better! THANK YOU all in advance! Dalton will love receiving these cards.

Dalton lives about 45 minutes from my house. I’ve never met him or his family, but the kids at my nephew’s school are all making him cards to send out tomorrow and I made one to send as well. I’d like to do more than that, though. My tumblr currently has 73,354 followers — with a little Christmas magic and an audience of 73,354 people who all have audiences of their own, 35,000 cards seems like nothing at all. Let’s get him 50,000. Everybody send him cards and reblog this!

Deep Silver, publisher of Dead Island, announced at E3 today that Techland, developer of the original Dead Island, is currently developing a new game for the franchise titled Dead Island Riptide. No other details have been released yet, but expect further on the title information to be released later this year.
